Fun in Munich!
Can I just say how much I love Munich? If I could live in this city, I would be a very happy camper. Munich is truly the heart of Bavaria.......the sterotype of Germany with the Huge Steins of Bier, Potato Pancakes, and Schnitzel. It is a beautiful city with so much history! I arrived here yesterday with Natalie after riding the train from Wiesbaden to Nuremberg and then from Nuremberg to here. I am staying with the lovely talented fantastic coach Michal and his boyfriend Mattie from Ireland. Very International here.....I love it! Last night, we went to a lovely Italian Restaurant in the heart of Munich and had some fantastic cuisine...along with some equally fantstic Hefferweissen :) This morning, Natalie and I woke up at 7 because the only time to coach with Michal was from 8-9.....too early for singing! But, I must say for singing arias like Mein Herr Marquis and Quel gualro il cavalliere at 8 am , I was pretty happy! Michal had some wonderful things to say, so I feel great about going into my first audition tommorow :) We have to be there at 11:00 tommorow, so that should be a piece of cake compared to today. I am super excited....it will be a great experience. I will keep you updated after the first audition, and in the immortal words of Heldentenor John Keyes.......I LOVE AUDITIONS!!! Bis bald!

I'm so proud of you and what you're doing!!! I can't wait to visit Deutschland and see you in your first Deutsches Oper.

Lisa - I'll be praying that your audition goes fantastically well tomorrow. You're going to ROCK IT!!! I'm so proud of you for getting your butt to Germany, my dear - you've grown so much! I know I'm being a 'mother hen' right now...but, as you know, I can't help it! I can't wait to check back in & hear all about tomorrow's audition - toi, toi, toi!
Love and God bless,
C-Dawg :)
Yah Yah, just checked out your pics from before you left to Germany...I seriously started laughing in my cube when I saw one of your ohh-so-trademark fake smiles...I miss them. I told you, I have a really good feeling about this trip for you..the stars have aligned and you have put in a lot of work and saki-bombs...your gonna crush it. And yes I shall be over soon when I start my journey as a vagabond drifting from town to town, feeding off cabbage and taters'. Talk to you soon, so happy for you ~Timay
